Fertility Yoga Monday May 15-June 20th 5:30 - 7:00PM

Trying to conceive? Yoga is a great way to help you release the tension, fear, anger and depression that can accompany couples experiencing infertility and sabotage their best efforts to become pregnant. Created just for you, this class is intended to help you reclaim your fertile ground. This series will include Preconception Health Coaching, Yoga and Guided Meditation. Registration Required $299 for the series. (Starts May 14th)

Karma Yoga with Terra, Wednesday 7:00 PM - Gentle Hatha class a combination of traditional Hatha yoga asanas, breath work and meditation. Yoga alignments and modifications of poses accessible to everybody. Karma Class $10 drop in fee.

(Re)Discover Yoga 6-week Series, Thursdays 5:30PM

This course includes an introduction to the connection of breath and movement as well as proper alignment in all postures and some yoga philosophy. Registration required $99 for the series (Starts in June).

Soul Sweat Asana Fridays 8:30 AM: Soul Sweat Asana practice is a dynamic vinyasa flow, which maximally challenges the body and mind while maintaining a sense of ease, joy, fun and freedom in the body. ($20 drop in fee).

Mommy and Me Post-Natal Yoga Fridays 11:30 AM: This post-natal class (babies and mom's 6 weeks post-partum) focuses on strengthening the spiritual, emotional and physical bond between parent and child. Babies must be at least 8-weeks. Registration required, $85 for the series.

Lauren teaches a 75-minute Hatha yoga class every Friday night at the beautiful Brahma Yoga Spa by the sea. This class is for ALL levels. Drop-ins are always welcome!

Saturdays @ 9:00am at Fair Haven Yoga in Fair Haven, NJ

Lauren teaches a 75-minute vigorous Hatha yoga class at 9:00am every Saturday morning. This class is for intermediate/advanced levels. Drop-ins are always welcome!

7 Days of Donation Yoga at Brahma Yoga Spa

In recognition of all yogis and yoginis who have given their faith, trust, and love to the instructors at Brahma Yoga Spa, they'd like to give a big thank you back to you and offer one entire week of donation only yoga. All those with packages will be extended for one week to compensate for this special observance. The week this will take place will be August 15th - August 21st. A portion of the money collected will be given to benefit Lunch Break and their valuable efforts within the community.

Be sure to check out Brahma's website (link below) for a schedule of classes and stop in for a class! If you can make it, come to my Friday night yoga class at 5:30pm. It's a great way to end your week and kick off your weekend!

Friday Friend Shout Out - Brahma Yoga Spa

This Friday Friend Shout Out is to Brahma Yoga Spa in Sea Girt, NJ!
When I first moved to Red Bank, I dropped in for a class at Brahma one morning and knew as soon as I got there that this was a place I wanted to teach yoga at! Luckily, I was able to join their staff and have been teaching the 5:30pm Hatha Yoga class each Friday night. I feel so blessed each week that I hold a class there. The studio is so beautiful!

Lisa Aquino, owner of Brahma Yoga Spa, is such a wonderfully pleasant person. She has an eclectic group of teachers who teach regularly at the studio, as well as special guests such as Wah!, Mahan Rishi Singh, Jacci Reynolds, Gurudev, etc., who come to host workshops, classes and events. Her spa staff is also exceptional, offering therapeutic massages, reflexology, hot stone massages and more.

Brahma has many exciting new events coming up in 2010, along with their own yoga teacher training certification program beginning this weekend. I am so proud to say that I'm a member of their staff!
